Ken has been my technician a couple of times now. He’s always on time, friendly, and extremely knowledgeable. He always fixes the problem and gives us proper estimates and options for moving forward.

Had connected with Garon T through Angie’s in spring. Did good Job then. This time, needed an outdoor line blown out and some plumbing inside fixed. Ken was plumber this time. A very personable guy, and a terrific plumber. We had a few plumbers over the years who checked a problem but could not figure out how to fix a faulty faucet on a tub. Ken figured it out in literally 15 seconds, he ordered the parts while still at our house and we were able to make an appointment to get it fixed. He also explained Garon Ts annual service agreement, which is a great deal. we took it. Ken returned with the parts, fixed the tub faucet and then addressed a problem with boiler that Keith shutting down. He identified the problem but as we discussed the age if both the boiler and water heater I saw it would be wider to replace the system. Again, Ken expedited the details and worked up an estimate. Really the best plumber we’ve had in our homes.

This time Garon T sent out Ken to help with removing a kitchen sink and installing a new one. He was great. I’m think Garon T is the company to call. Prompt, professional and polite.

Nick came to my rescue! He found the tiny tiny hole that was causing water on my basement floor. He also changed my whole house water filter as even with the plastic wrench supplied I could not budge it . As with all the Garon T team he was courteous, efficient and talented. Highly recommend this company and all their employees

Outdated plumbing poses more downsides than benefits in any home. While old pipes may seem to be holding up just fine, hidden issues that can cause serious, often irreversible, damage can be lurking. But when should you call a plumbing repair expert?

Whenever you need a top-rated plumber in Red Bank, NJ, trust Garon T Plumbing, Heating, AC & Electric. We provide top-notch services at friendly, affordable rates. Here, we take a look at when you should have outdated plumbing replaced.

Age of Your Plumbing System

One of the most obvious indicators that it’s time for a new plumbing installation is the age of the system. If your home was built more than 40 years ago, chances are the pipes are made from materials that are no longer considered safe or durable, such as galvanized steel or even lead.

Frequent Leaks or Repairs

Have you been calling for repairs more often than you’d like? If you’re dealing with frequent leaks or clogs, your outdated pipes may be the culprit. Over time, pipes degrade, leading to cracks, weak spots, and other vulnerabilities. While having a plumbing company patch leaks might seem like a quick fix, constant repairs are a sure sign that a full replacement could save you time, money, and stress in the long run.

Discolored or Smelly Water

Rusty or discolored water coming from your faucets are causes to seek emergency plumbing services. These issues indicate that your pipes are corroding from the inside and are at risk of collapse. Corrosion can also cause foul-smelling water, which is not only unpleasant but potentially unsafe.

Low Water Pressure

Are you experiencing low water pressure in multiple areas of your home? This could be due to mineral deposits or corrosion blocking the flow of water. While low pressure may seem like a minor inconvenience, it’s often a warning sign to call an emergency plumber so that proper water flow can be restored.

If you’re dealing with any of these issues, take action and have outdated parts of your plumbing replaced. Contact us today at Garon T Plumbing, Heating, AC & Electric to schedule a consultation!
